Drag Artist
Bursting with surreal innovation and absurd surprises, I am a groundbreaking, gender-disrupting drag artist and mother of Haus of Staynes—a draghaus centering afrocrip, neuroqueer, trans, and trauma-survivor performers.
Performing as my Igbo-American persona L’il Wank Stayne, I:
Won Heat 10 of Europe’s biggest drag king competition, “Man Up” (2022)
Directed a devised ensemble piece, mentoring new collaborators to unleash their own drag personas
Freestyle rapped to L’il Wayne on the main stage of the sold-out Clapham Grand in front of 1000+ people
My practice is afro-absurdist, experimental, and character-driven—a bit like a mad drag scientist with a great arse. I continue to develop new personas, push boundaries, and create unforgettable performances.
